Building on last year’s success, I’m so thrilled and excited to announce my 2nd Dance Like an Egyptian Intensive Week in Cairo Egypt!

DLAE Intensive will be held on DECEMBER 4 – 11,  2022!
Working very hard to provide you with some of the best most organized events; with some of the most qualified and knowledgeable teachers, these master teachers are hand-picked taking into account not just their skill and knowledge but their ability to connect with you on a personal level.

DLAE Week was created to increase your knowledge and ability to achieve the most results you can in the time of your study, This Intensive is geared to teachers and intermediate students alike.  As a teacher, you will learn new skills on how to pass the knowledge to your students with facts and not fiction and how to manifest your skills on the world stage. With us, you will learn certain nuances that are not normally taught in any regular festivals or in your everyday class.

A pyramid view, a beautiful location, right in Giza, and the best time of the year to visit Cairo. Dance with me by the Majestic Pyramids, sit at the paws of the Sphinx, and enjoy the never history of kings and Queens long passed.

DLAE Intensive week will cover most topics relating to Oriental Dance; Technique, Choreography, Theory, Musicality, Expressions, and more. Some of the workshops will have live musicians joining us.

KAMELIA MOURAD; Excited to bring to you Egypt's Star Camelia;
A native Egyptian Dance artist, a star of Egypt who has traveled the world teaching and performing, loved by so many students around the world. Camelia in her way is unique in her technique, highly musical, and deeply passionate. Studying with her will leave an impact on your dance that you won't forget!

SAHAR SAMARA; A native Egyptian Oriental dance artist and master teacher with a stage presence like no other! Charismatic, strong, and feminine, with courage and command of the stage only true artists possess.

KAREEM GAD; Also a native Egyptian Master teacher and performer as well as a writer just to name a few of his talents. With elegance, power, and knowledge, Kareem leaves no stone unturned in search of knowledge about the dance so he can give his students the unadulterated truth in a world full of misinformation.

HODA IBRAHIM; Madam Hoda is a native Egyptian, a beloved unique teacher, and a Master in Egyptian folklore dance. Her knowledge and teaching qualities are unlike any other. Toured the world as an ambassador to Egyptian folklore, Her love of the dance is infectious. Her workshop is not to be missed. Come and dance with Hoda and Enjoy her knowledgeable folklore workshop!  

KAMELIA MOURAD, SAHAR SAMARA, KAREEM GAD & HODA IBRAHIM; each master teacher, will be teaching one day workshop, and Mohamed Shahin will be teaching the rest of the week. Over 27 hours of intensive workshops in total!!

This week will be as rich as you can possibly imagine!

Our schedule will include:

• Intensive workshops, Superstars Opening & Closing Gala dinner shows, Open Stage Performances, Competitions, and of course in all of this we will incorporate DLAE Live Band
• Cairo night out; Cabaret Night, we will have fun, dance, and watch a variety of Bellydancers, and singers at the Cairo Night Scene
• Folkloric dinner show overlooking the Pyramids
• Day Out: A trip to the desert, all about having lots and lots of fun,  facing the Pyramids of Giza folklore show including Bedouin Style dinner, horses, and more, a day you will never forget!
  
  
In this Intensive week, we will learn, dance, perform, compete, party, make new friends, and will have lots of fun together all under one roof in Cairo in the shadows of the Pyramids.
