Shaabi Is the name of a style of living, a style of dance, and a style of music.
Shaabi is an Arabic word and refers to the lower society, commoner sections of the city. An English equivalent might be “ghetto.” The name came to characterize the style of music enjoyed in such neighbourhoods. The style is somewhat and more playful than the rest of Egyptian pop music. Naturally, the style of dance acquired the name “sha’abi”.
Khaliji technique and full Choreography
Khaliji Is the style of music native to the Arab states of the Persian Gulf (Bahrian, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE). It is characterized by heavy use of the traditional tabla drum and music of the oud.
